We launched our TY Artisan Market in school today. Students developed a range of unique and innovative new food products as part of ‘The Future is Food’ Transition Year Unit that was developed by The Taste Council in collaboration with Bord Bia. A core element of the programme is that the school is matched with a local food producer or food professional, who will mentor the students during the initial stages of the food project. We are extremely grateful to Rathmullan House, in particular Chef Micheál Harley who paid us a visit a few weeks ago to give advice to students on their food project. Watch out for our second Artisan Market on Tues 9th of May. #HomeEconomics #ArtisanMarket #FutureisFood #TransitionYearUnit
