After Keisha Knight Pulliam showed up to support Bil Cosby during his sexual assault trial, it appears the actress has done a 180 and Camille Cosby is reportedly furious about it.
Pulliam showed up arm-in-arm with her “The Cosby Show” dad at a Pennsylvania courthouse in June, however, his guilty verdict on three counts of aggravated indecent assault last month appears to have led to doubts for Pulliam. Sources told Radar Online Thursday, May 10 the actress is questioning if she wants to continue publicly supporting the comedian.
And his wife is displeased.
“Camille and Keshia are at odds,” the source alleged. “Camille wants Keshia to write a letter or make a statement supporting Bill after his guilty verdict. But Keshia has refused.”
Cosby herself has written a letter backing her husband, comparing the verdict in favor of former Temple University employee Andrea Constand to the lynching of Emmett Till.
“This is mob justice, not real justice,” Cosby’s wife of 54 years wrote in a three-page statement. “This tragedy must be undone not just for Bill Cosby, but for the country.”
However, the division caused by Camille’s remarks and the growing support for the #MeToo movement — which has led The Academy to eject Cosby — has made Pulliam reconsider backing TV’s Cliff Huxtable.
“She thinks she has done enough,” the source added of Pulliam. “She’s even been to court and stood by Bill, but at this point, she won’t do anything else. And Camille is furious.”
Several Twitter users have chimed in on the report.
“Sounds as if she’s angry at everyone but him,” someone said of Camille’s supposed hostility.
“Camille is DELUSIONAL!” another said.
“Keshia has verbally supported Cosby, the sad thing is Camille has supported his actions for years,” someone else tweeted.
