“Love and Hip Hop: New York” star Cyn Santana is officially engaged after her boo Joe Budden proposed to her on Wednesday night.
The New York rapper filmed a live Christmas special on Dec. 19 for his podcast series “The Joe Budden Podcast,” and his girlfriend Santana, 26, was in attendance. He was dressed in a black suit, looking quite spiffy as he took the stage during the middle of his live taping.
“This is the best relationship I’ve ever had. I’m here to ask you the same thing. Is this the best relationship you’ve ever had? ” Budden, 38, asked Santana before dropping to one knee. “Prove it to me.”
The crowd began cheering as the rapper pulled out a small box with diamond engagement ring inside. Santana was in complete shock before finally making her way to the stage where Budden was kneeling.
“Cynthia, will you marry me?” he asked. The 26-year-old grabbed the mic from Budden and replied, “I want to spend this life and the next life with you.”
The relieved on-air personality later confirmed the news on his Instagram account with a photo of he and Santana.
“She. Said. Yes. Thank you God,” he wrote in the caption.
Santana also confirmed the news on her social media account by playing Beyoncé’s “Love on Top” in a video while flashing her engagement ring. The LHHNY star wrote in the caption, “Ommmmgggggggggggg ❤️.”
Fans swamped Santana’s Instagram page with warm wishes on her new engagement.
“YASSSS!!!! Congratulations Cyn❤️❤️?.”
