ORLANDO, FL – April 18, 2022 – The Heart & Soul Music Festival returns this year with an exciting lineup. The 2022 festival will take place Saturday, October 8, 2022 at the Apopka Amphitheater in Orlando, Florida. Last year was successful in bringing people together safely and gave everyone a taste of what the Heart & Soul has to offer. “It feels great to announce our highly anticipated lineup and have the festival back for 2022,” said organizer and General Manager of WHPB 98.5 FM, Paul Billings. “Our goal is to not only showcase musical talent, but also promote community development, local businesses, education, arts, and cultural awareness.”
This year will be headlined by the legendary Isley Brothers. With over 18 million albums sold in the U.S. and 30 plus chart-topping hits, the audience will enjoy classic hits including “For the Love of You,” “Between the Sheets,” “Footsteps in the Dark,” “That Lady,” and countless others. Also performing live includes Howard Hewett, Con Funk Shun, and Leela James. Formerly part of Shalamar, Howard Hewett went on to a successful solo career. Attendees will enjoy numerous hit singles including “Show Me,” “I’m For Real,” “This Love is Forever,” and many more. Take a trip down memory lane as Con Funk Shun performs some of their biggest hits such as “Ffun,” “Love’s Train,” and “Chase Me.” Finally, R&B Soul sensation Leela James will have the crowd singing along to her sultry singles “You’re The One,” “Complicated,” and “Say That.”
Make plans to join us for the 2nd Annual Heart & Soul Music Festival this October, one of the most affordable and distinctive music festivals in the U.S. The festival will once again celebrate African American history with entertainment, education, art exhibits, health screenings, food and merchandise vendors, and much more.
