The interim president of Morehouse College, William Taggart, has died.
While an autopsy will be conducted in order to determine the exact cause of death, it has been reported that he died of an aneurysm.
Taggart, a Howard University alumnus, took over the position of President of Morehouse College after the previous president, John Wilson, stepped aside three months before his contract was set to expire. The transition took place in March.
Our thoughts are with Taggart’s family as well as those in Morehouse in Atlanta mourning his loss.
