Famous Trump supporters Diamond and Silk have used their weekly live stream to defend ousted White House liaison Omarosa Manigault Newman from the Black women who they say were wrong in covering her exit. Newman’s last day as the communications director for the Office of Public Liaison is Jan. 20, 2018 and the former reality TV villain maintains she resigned from the role, but White House correspondent April Ryan and a New York Times reporter claimed she was forced out of the role.
Enter Diamond and Silk, who first took aim at Ryan for her account of how Newman lost her job.
“What I find appalling, to my brothers and sisters,” Diamond begins the Tuesday, Dec. 26 D&S Chit Chat, “[is] how you … can laugh at, pick at, gloat at somebody because they either left the White House or you listened to a salacious story that Miss Piggy went around, running around telling everybody.”
They also took aim at CNN commentator Angela Rye, who famously told Omarosa, “You haven’t done anything for the community, you are skin folk, we don’t own you like Zora …goodbye, good riddance!”
Saying the media also used Rye to bring down Omarosa, Diamond and Silk said she’ll “reap what you sow.”
“Now, you may not like Omarosa, but you don’t have a right to laugh at her,” Diamond fumed after claiming someone said Rye was ill. “I don’t know what you goin’ through, but I wouldn’t laugh at you if you were sick.”
The duo then took aim at “Good Morning America” anchor Robin Roberts, who quipped at the end of Omarosa’s interview, “Bye, Felicia.”
“We didn’t laugh at her,” Diamond exclaimed. “We prayed because we didn’t want her to be sick! We didn’t say no, ‘Bye, Felicia’ to her. … So what they did was wrong … You’re wrong for that. How is it that you want the community to come up and then when a sister is sitting at the table [you say], ‘Well, she didn’t represent us’? Are you crazy?”

The comments on Diamond and Silk’s chat were glowing.
But detractors let their frustrations fly on another YouTube video of the stream.
But Newman isn’t just a victim. Staying true to her roots on “The Apprentice,” she’s reportedly gearing up to write a tell-all book about her time in the White House and Donald Trump’s marriage to Melania.
“The White House is afraid that Omarosa, being as familiar with the media as she is, will dance around all the confidentiality issues as much as she can,” a source told In Touch Weekly via Life & Style. “She will likely write a book, and yes, they should be on edge about what she’ll say.”
The book, which could reportedly fetch her up to $10 million, could be the one she alluded to at the end of her GMA interview. Aside from skirting around confidentiality agreements, she’s also going to reveal what one source said, “could be Donald and Melania’s worst nightmare.”
“She knows how much time they spend together and whether or not they even sleep in the same bedroom,” another insider said. “How much does Melania have to put up with? Does she really agree with her husband’s stance on things? Does she believe any of the sexual harassment allegations lodged against him or are they all lies? Does she plan to divorce him once they’re out of the White House? All these questions could be answered.”
