Cynthia Bailey may no longer be with actor Leon Robinson, but she certainly has a lot of love for him as the father of her only child. So when Father’s Day came around Sunday, she acknowledged his impact on her life. And her boyfriend Mike Hill had fans amused when he stepped in later on.
“Happy Fathers Day @wwwjustleon? What can I say?” Bailey’s June 16 memo began. “We are so beyond blessed to have brought the most wonderful little human being into the world together. @noellerobinson is our God given divine creation that is the perfect combination of us. Will always be grateful to God that our worlds collided at the perfect time & the perfect place to create our perfectly ‘imperfect’ beautiful daughter. Have an amazing day!!! #happyfathersday #noellesdad.”
The ode got lots of cheers from fans, and even Hill, who has been dating Bailey for the past year, chimed in.
“Happy Father’s Day my brother. @wwwjustleon,” the Fox Sports 1 newscaster commented.
“@itsmikehill hes not your brother, ?” one person replied, putting a bit of a cloud over the post.
“@jannettb who’s hes? I don’t know anyone named hes. So I guess in you’re own little way, you’re right….or is it your right?” Hill shot back, taking aim at the responding Instagram user’s grammar.
But it wasn’t all negativity. After Hill held his own following some back-and-forth with the commenter, fans found the way Hill stepped into the comments comical.
“@itsmikehill hohohohoho Mike is a savage ? smooth AF ????”
“@itsmikehill ?????”
“@itsmikehill ?????”
Regardless, Robinson himself understood Hill’s sentiment.
“@jannettb But I’m A Brother, a Black brother am I not? Confused by what point you are attempting make?” the actor commented before addressing Hill.
“@itsmikehill Thx, bro! You already know. I hit you on the private line (:!” he said.
“@wwwjustleon we know what it is. All that matters, my brother,” Hill replied, doubling down on his “brother” mention.
While Bailey showed love to her former flame, she didn’t miss out on wishing her current main squeeze a happy Father’s Day too.
“Happy Fathers Day @itsmikehill❤️ You are such a sweet, loving & caring dad! I love watching you with your beautiful daughters @kayylahill & @aaashlee. @noellerobinson & I are blessed to be able to share in all this love #happyfathersday,” Bailey wrote.
