After the airing of Monday night’s intense episode on “Basketball Wives of L.A.,” Shaunie O’ Neal reacted to a fan who accused her of not keeping it real with long-time friend Tami Roman.
On episode 6 O’Neal found out about a rumor that her friend Evelyn Lozada slept with one of her exes. However, Roman was the first person to bring it to the businesswoman’s attention while they were shopping in a clothing store.
“I heard this thing,” Roman said. “I want you know that it’s information that I would have never said anywhere because I feel like it’d hurt the people involved.”
Once the ladies arrived at a cast retreat, “Basketball Wives” Jennifer Williams spilled the beans to O’Neal and blurted out,” I’m just gonna say this — Tami and I had a conversation about Evelyn sleeping with your ex.”
Roman said Williams told her a year ago when they both had a vendetta against Lozada. However, the former wife of Chad Ochocinco denied the accusations and asked Roman why she didn’t tell O’Neal a year ago.
Although many viewers began to blast Roman for being messy, one fan jumped to her defense and said O’Neal got what she deserved because she knew about Evelyn cheating with Tami’s Ex but didn’t tell Tami.
“She [Tami] handled the situation the same way Shaunie handled Evelyn sleeping with Tamie’s ex by not saying anything and allowing Evelyn to tell Tami herself. So all of ya’ll have a seat about Tami being fake!”
Lozada revealed to Roman in 2011 she had sexual relations with her ex-husband Kenny Anderson while the two were still married. However, Lozada told O’Neal the secret before revealing it to the actress. The incident has created a long feud between Lozada and Roman ever since.
O’Neal slammed the fan’s timeline. “I’m not sure where you got that information from boo. Let me correct you.. I found out about Tami’s ex and Evelyn situation about an hour before Tami did. Remember I was there.”
