Cardi B. is the recipient of a lot of love these days, with Taraji P. Henson becoming the latest admirer with words of praise for the stripper-turned-rapper.
The Bronx-native posted a screenshot of the Empire star’s kind words Wednesday, June 28, saying how much it meant to her.
But Henson isn’t the rapper’s only notable supporter. She joins singers Kelly Rowland and Solange Knowles, who made sure to snap a picture with the rapper during the recent BET Awards.
Cardi B has been having a pretty good year. She initially gained popularity when she joined the cast of “Love and Hip-Hop New York” in 2016 during season 6. Before that, she guested on Shaggy’s “Boom Boom (Remix)” with Popcaan in November of 2015, dropping her first mixtape, “Gangsta B— Music Vol 1,” in March of the following year. She was nominated for her first BET Award this year.
