Toni Braxton’s run-of-the-mill appetite suppressant advertisement on Instagram turned ugly Thursday when she wound up getting clowned for her shifting wig.
“#ad The BEST revenge is getting your BODY RIGHT! @flattummyco knows what I’m talking about, and ladies…so do you!” the singer captioned the post June 14. “These appetite suppressant lollipops are perfect when I don’t have time to grab a snack, and I know you’re going to want your own. You can order yours at flattummyco.com #FlatTummyPops.”
But fans paid little to no attention to her flawless skin and the caption compared to the image, which saw the “Braxton Family Values” star lying down with a lollipop in hand glancing at the camera.
Several fans complimented the vocalist.
“Beautiful Toni love you???.”
“Classic beauty.”
“Dammmmnnn T! I thought this was a throwback. ?? #libragang.”
“Is it possible for you to be more beautiful than you are now? I think not! How can you improve on absolute perfection?”
“Thought this was a tbt you look great.”
“I know u better age backwards!! Favorite of all time!!”
However, some fans wondered about her wig.
“I love me some Toni Braxton, but I am not understanding what’s going on with this wig,” the fan said, referring to the lace front exposing Braxton’s naturally curly hair underneath it.
And others fans noticed the shift in hair textures.
“The hair.”
“Y Toni hair like that lol.”
While Braxton hasn’t responded to the diss, her ever-changing hairstyles are nothing new.
The “Sex and Cigarettes” performer has rocked everything in her decades-long career from a cropped bowl cut to finger waves to thick, long hair in varying shades of blonde and black.
She’s also never afraid to switch up her looks on the ‘gram, wearing short curls one day on stage and lengthy, bone-straight locks the next for a photoshoot.
