It seems music producer Stevie J. has found himself at the center of drama once again, but this time of his own free will.
Since Tuesday evening, former “Love and Hip Hop” stars Joseline Hernandez and her bestie Hazel E have been going back and forth with City Girls rapper Yung Miami. Even Diamond Princess Trina, G Herbo and Masika Kalysha added their two cents into the feud.
The drama began last month when Hazel E accused the City Girls, Yung Miami and JT, of sampling her 2017 song “Actin Up” to create the group’s 2019 hit single “Act Up.” Yung Miami of course denied the “LHH” alumna’s accusations, saying that she and JT never heard of any music from her.
Just when folks thought the feud was over, Hazel E dropped a diss record title “Add It Up” on Tuesday evening toward the City Girls, their production team Quality Control Music and Lil Yachty, who apparently helped the group write “Act Up.” She talked about Yung Miami’s mother and son, which fueled the rapper to fire off.
Hernandez was dragged into the beef when she supported Hazel’s diss record on social media, writing, “And that s–t hard. … Go Off b–ch!”
Her remarks started a social media war, causing Yung Miami to respond, “On my son I will beat either one of you hoes to death just cause b–ches throw drinks and pull hair cross tables on TV don’t do s–t to me!”
Stevie J. inserted himself into the mix when he reposted a fan comment on his Instagram Story hours later, saying that the person was siding with Yung Miami in her beef with Hernandez and Hazel E.
“I’m f–king with YM simply bc she a real one and Hazel and Jose both washed up reality wanna be artist. … and JOSE we all know you snort COKE by the pile, stop keeping that baby from @hitmansteviej_1.”
Stevie J.’s repost went viral and sparked a wave of negative reactions from fans.
“You a real b–ch for this how the f–k you gonna go against ya baby mom like where the f–k they do that at wow ?.”
“It be yo own baby daddy smh. He acting like a b–ch. Nigga reminded me he got no balls.”
“He trash! Stevie need to mind his business like he added himself out of nowhere ??♂️.”
“The nerve of him when he’s the reason she in he position she in with this s–t ? he a whole b–ch nicca smh.”
As of recently it’s been reported that Stevie J. filed for full custody of his and Hernandez’s 2-year-old daughter Bonnie Bella. He’s accusing her of purposely keeping him out of their daughter’s life and violating “parental alienation,” according to Bossip.
He also claimed he feared for his daughter’s safety, although not stating why, and asked the courts to appoint a “guardian ad litem” for the child, a court official who has the best interests of the child.
Although Stevie is catching flak for his recent post seemingly attacking Hernandez, there have been folks who’ve jumped to his defense.
“Y’all steady saying he wrong for a damn repost ? but is she wrong for keeping Bonnie away from him ? And so what if she grow up and see this post imagine all the other s–t she gone see her mother doing on social media before her timing ??♀️.”
“Y’all mad yet what lie was told.. Joseline talks hella s–t about people keeping that man baby away and you dumb b–ches in here going in because he reposted it. I’m with stevie ?.”
